Courageously Change

My primary therapy approach is Internal Family Systems. This method is most compassionate in looking at your ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving as learned means of protecting yourself. Discover why you do what you do and begin to change. Through developing awareness of our patterned reactions we can learn more beneficial ways of responding to stress. I have advanced training in this modality as well as experience working as a Program Assistant during therapist trainings.

TESTIMONIALS

"I want you to know that you have helped me tremendously figure out who I am in the midst of all the struggle, what parts make up my greater self and what role has been played by those parts, and how to make boundaries for myself and honor those boundaries.  My life is very different because of the work we did. So thank you.
You helped me, and for that I am extremely grateful. "

I highly recommend Libby Gell,  She’s an excellent therapist.

"People CAN change. I want you to know that you are helping me in many different ways, things you say during our sessions pop in my head throughout the day and it's really helping me see things from a different perspective."

I truly thank you for helping me to figure out that I deserve so much better. It took me figuring myself out and gaining some confidence in myself...  So, thank YOU for helping me to do that.

I owe a debt of gratitude to Libby!  Her coaching gave me the encouragement I needed to take a risk and switch careers, starting my own business! Thank you, Libby, for giving me the confidence to have a happier life!”

What I found that was helpful was: ... Gaining the confidence to know I am worthy of the things I want and need in a relationship and that I deserve them.   Learning ... to respond more compassionately towards myself...to love myself.  Realizing only I know the truth of the situation and who I am as a person!"

"I  just got an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for you and your willingness to help me become a person not run off fear and more capable of handling lifes situations. I just want to say "Thank You" for being a big part of my life.

"Thanks so much... (our sessions) helped me, tremendously. When I look at where I was when I started seeing you and where I am now, I am very pleased."

Libby Gell...is truly thoughtful, caring and adept at pinpointing issues and bringing people to the place where they can handle their lives.  She’s a phenomenal and insightful human being who can recognize how to help people regain perspective and provide guidance on how to celebrate the successes in life.  Libby helped me to see how to change my behavior. Now I can look forward instead of reliving the last chapters of my life."
